Mosaic’s Beauty Project is aimed at pre-teen and young teenage girls and provides weekly crafts, snacks and lessons designed to increase the girl’s self-esteem and understand the value that God has for them.
Men’s and Women’s Bible Studies are held each week on Tuesday at 6:30 pm. This affords an in-depth opportunity to grow in the word and to pray for each other’s needs on a more personal level.
Free GED classes are offered through the PENTA Careers Center on board the Toledo Lucas County Public Library’s Cybermobile.
With the goal of reaching pregnant/new parents, Baby University strives to teach life-skills, parenting strategies, and nutrition. Incentives such as free diapers, formula, clothes, and gift-cards help motivate young parents along the training path toward success. Graduates of the Baby University may return for further sessions, as well as to provide a mentoring influence to new participants.
The Mosaic Free Clinic is offered after the Tuesday evening meal several times once a month and is free to all patients. It operates as a primary care clinic with doctors and nurses available to assess and treat a wide range of conditions from asthma to COPD to minor injuries to well-patient visits. Available to all ages and free regardless of insurance status.
